MARKS AND SPENCER GROUP PLC ANNOUNCES CHAIRMAN DESIGNATE OF ITS REMUNERATION COMMITTEE

Marks and Spencer Group plc today announces that Vindi Banga will take on the role of Chairman of the Remuneration Committee when, as previously announced, Steven Holliday steps down from the Board following the AGM in 2014.  Vindi has been a member of the Remuneration Committee since he joined the Board in September 2011.
