Marks & Spencer is excited to announce that its iconic Scottish lamb, a trusted, consistent year-round offering in stores across Scotland, will be available on shelves across England this festive season. One of the farmers supplying M&S this season with their trusted quality Scottish lamb, is fourth-generation farmer Scott Lambie from a family-run farm in Perthshire.
Scott Lambie’s farm in the Strathearn Valley manages over 2,000 breeding ewes and 150 breeding cows, combining responsible upland sheep farming with cattle breeding to create a system where both lamb and beef production complement each other and benefits both the animals and the land. His sheep flock includes Scotch Blackface, Scotch Mules, and Texel crosses, all raised on natural Scottish pastures with minimal supplementary feed.
Today, the Lambie family continues to build for the future with strong support from Scott’s wider family, ensuring that skills, standards, and knowledge are maintained and passed on, while consistently upholding the high standards that support M&S’s sourcing of premium Scottish lamb.
Through close partnerships with farmers like Scott, M&S can offer customers in Scotland a steady supply of top-quality Scottish lamb all year round. The collaboration showcases M&S’s long-term commitment to supporting Scottish agriculture and investing in responsible sourcing that guarantees quality from farm to table.
Scott Lambie said: “We’ve been farming this land for generations. Our lamb is almost entirely grass-fed and finished to meet the high standards customers expect. In the lead up to Christmas, supplying M&S means our lamb will now reach tables across England, not just here in Scotland where it’s always been a staple.”
Scott also highlighted the pride in delivering premium quality lamb: “Producing lamb to these exacting standards is a challenge, but the results are worth it when you hear how much customers enjoy the taste and quality.”
Vivienne Harris, Agriculture Manager, M&S said: “We are proud to showcase our Scottish Lamb and truly value the expertise, skill, and dedication that goes into producing such high-quality livestock on Select Farms like Scott Lambie’s. Their role and attention to responsible farming and quality assurance enables M&S to offer customers premium Scottish lamb with consistent flavour and provenance, now and well into the future.”
Customers in Scotland can enjoy the rich flavour and trusted quality of Scottish lamb from M&S all year round. Customers in England can find Scottish lamb in their local store until January 2026.
