Keep on Running
The Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon aims to help other charities raise vital funds for their work in the UK and overseas.
In 2011 the race took place on Sunday October 9th with M&S again as one of the proud sponsors.
The route covered the beautiful scenery of four Royal Parks, (Green Park, St James's Park, Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens), and passes many of London's landmarks, including Buckingham Palace, The Royal Albert Hall, Big Ben and the London Eye.
Last year was the fourth Royal Parks Half Marathon and it saw the largest field to date, with 11,500 runners lining up for the start and an amazing 31 different countries represented. With the public race places selling out in just 2 hours 40 minutes it looks likely to run and run!
Over the four years, £10 million has been raised for charity, so with this year's race date confirmed as Sunday October 7th, even if you don't join the race itself, why not come along and show your support!
