We aim to excite and inspire our customers at every turn. We will inspire our customers with products, services and experiences that are both desirable and sustainable. We want our marketing activities to be consistent with our guiding principles and Plan A commitments.

Plan A
We aim to communicate to our customers about sustainability issues in a straight forward and easy to understand manner. We aim to promote more sustainable products wherever practical.

We listen to our stakeholder and respond if we get it wrong. We always try to adopt a responsible approach in depicting social and ethical diversity. We avoid images or campaigns which are inappropriate or may cause offence.

Animal Pledge
In 2013, we signed-up to the Animal Pledge. This is a commitment to not use any images of performing wild animals in our marketing activities. For more information about Animal Pledge click here.

Sweets at till points
We removed all confectionery, crisps, cakes and biscuits from the till points in all 580 of our owned stores by the end of September 2015. These foods have been moved to other areas of our stores for our customers to buy.
