Competitive salary
Similar schemes may claim to offer you the best salary, but none are quite as impressive as ours. What’s more, you’ll enjoy a series of pay rises as you progress:
- Stage One – £18,000
- Stage Two – £19,500
- On appointment to Commercial Manager – c.£24,000
Bonus scheme
Our bonus scheme is designed to motivate you to achieve great results, and is reviewed on an annual basis. The scheme relates to achieving financial results, both corporately and at a divisional level.
Holidays
You earn paid holiday from the very first day of your employment. You’re entitled to up to four weeks plus bank holidays in your first year, and the longer you stay with us, the more you’ll earn.
Employee discount
Within three weeks of joining, you will receive your M&S discount card. This entitles you to a 20% unlimited discount on your purchases (except Technology). Your partner or a member of your family who permanently lives with you can also have their own discount card. What’s more, you’ll also benefit from 20% discount when shopping online. In addition, you will be entitled to 40% off corporate workwear.
Pension plan
A big benefit of working at M&S is our pension scheme. After a year, you’ll get the chance to start saving for your future. And for every £1 you put in, we’ll put in an extra £2 (but before you get carried away, there is a maximum contribution).
Additional benefits
You’ll also have the chance to take part in our profit sharing scheme, take up optional subsidised benefits such as discounted gym membership, and enjoy savings on tickets for amusement parks, joining fees for health clubs and RAC membership, as well as reductions at a variety of UK holiday resorts.
