Visual Merchandising – Customer Assistants
Our Visual Merchandising team are responsible for keeping our stores in tip-top condition and work across all our departments (from Clothing and Home to our coffee shop, Café Revive) to create an in-store look that gets people talking.
The team is very commercially aware and keeps a close eye on what products are selling well. They can then use this information to dress windows and create enticing displays that make our items even more attractive. They also have a lot of influence on the design of our store layouts and make sure our products are promoted effectively during key selling periods (such as Christmas).
Your role and what you’ll need to do it

Working mainly out of trading hours, you’ll ensure the store always looks its best. So you’ll need to be flexible when it comes to the hours you work. You'll also need to be aware of the current trends on the high street (for customers of all ages) and be able to follow the look and feel of the Marks & Spencer brand.
A fashion or art qualification would be desirable. And, as you may also be asked to help out around the store during our busiest times, it’s important that you're comfortable talking to customers.
