Buyers have a clear influence on the management of their range, and are responsible for all the relevant strategy and development. The team as a whole aims to be leader in the marketplace and is working to continuously improve the Marks & Spencer offering. The department also constantly redevelops our buying process to deliver lower stock levels, shorter lead times and greater flexibility.

For these roles, you’ll need excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a talent for building strong relationships with other departments, such as Design, Merchandising and Technology. Plus, you’ll also need a good understanding of product trends to ensure we have the right stock in the right store at the right price.
