Marks & Start Logistics
There are 8.3 million disabled people of working age in the UK. Only 49% of those will find employment.
If you have a disability or health condition and think you face barriers getting into the working world, Marks & Start Logistics could help. Here’s how:
Remploy will provide employability skills training tailored to your personal needs, and M&S will arrange two weeks of on-site technical and skills-based training, using simulated equipment. Once completed, you’ll start a two week work placement as a member of the team in a live environment. Then, a review takes place between you and your team leader to decide if a role in the warehouse is right for you.
We hope this programme will lead to employment in our new Distribution Centre.
If you would like to find out more about this programme, please visit the Remploy website by clicking here, call their contact centre on 0845 600 2517 or email email@example.com.
M&S are committed to providing a safe working environment and need all employees and third parties to be in a fit condition whilst working on site. M&S therefore conduct drug and alcohol testing on the basis that health, safety and welfare may be jeopardised if an employee is impaired by the misuse of drugs, alcohol or other substances.
