Marks & Spencer introduces bridal and occasionwear in selected stores and on-line from March 2007. Elegant and contemporary, the range includes: dresses for brides, bridesmaids, suits for grooms and occasionwear pieces for attendants and guests.
For brides, striking dresses include maxi, knee length, strappy and bustier styles including a stunning silk Grecian style full volume dress. Fabrics include chiffon, corded lace, crepe and silk in white and vintage cream. Bras, basques, suspenders, thongs and French knickers in ivory silks are the perfect lingerie foundation pieces. Bridesmaid’s dresses are available in soft neutral tones including a champagne floor length bandeau style dress.
The collection offers a wide choice for both mother of the bride and wedding guests, including tailored separates and delicate dresses. Beautiful statement accessories include jewellery, satin shoes, small clutch bags in luxurious fabrics and a selection of wraps and cover ups, not to mention tiara’s and veils for that finishing touch.
For the groom, sharp tailoring is prevalent, morning suit jackets are available in herringbone and black with matching trousers in black or pinstripe. To complete the look brocade waistcoats and cravats are available in a selection of soft pastels.
Finally, to complete the bridal party M&S childrenswear features flower girls and page boys outfits. Flowergirl dresses are in silk and lace with full net underlay skirts with matching beaded cardigans and shrugs in ivory and soft pink. Co-ordinating accessories include: shoes, tiaras and small pretty bags. Pageboy outfits feature tail coats, suit jackets and smart trousers with jacquard waistcoats and cravats available in soft pink and cornflower blue.

The range will also be available to order online and in select M&S stores nationwide from the March 2007.
