Marks & Spencer is planning its biggest ever launch of a new season's clothing range in over 100 stores this January.
Last year the early launch of womenswear was so successful, the Company has decided to double the number of stores receiving its new transitional Spring ranges from 53 last year to 106 this year. The timing - the range will be in place by 9 January - remains unchanged.
The following week - on 16 January - menswear, lingerie, beauty and home will also be unveiled in 106 stores, together with the new season's window displays, in-store décor and co-ordinated displays. Per una launches its high fashion range on 20 January with childrenswear following the next day.
The successful Blue Harbour menswear range celebrates its first birthday this January. In just one year Blue Harbour has become the UK's number one men's casualwear brand.
In total, three and a half million sq. ft of store space will be transformed to make way for over 10 million items of Spring merchandise. This will be delivered via a logistics network operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week and controlling over 3,500 delivery runs to stores across the country.
David Norgrove, Clothing Director for Marks & Spencer said, "Our customers expect to see new, exciting fashion in our stores and many of them want to buy the key looks early. We're delighted that we can bring these new ranges to more customers across the country than ever before."
