Consumer watchdog website Which.co.uk has rated the M&S Large Serene Bouquet (£35.00), as their number one choice for Mother’s Day.
Marks & Spencer’s Large Serene Bouquet (£35.00) achieved the highest score (86%) and was praised for its “expensive flowers” and how long it lasted – one mum tester commented, “This is a lovely big bouquet with some very pretty flowers... a few days after the delivery the flowers were still opening up."
Which? also tested budget flowers (under £25) and M&S came out top again – the Spring Dawn Bouquet (£19.50) had an overall score of 86%, as well as being the cheapest bouquet of those tested.
M&S Flowers Marketing Manager Claire Broomhead says, "We're absolutely thrilled that the quality and variety of our flowers have been recognised by Which? We put as much effort into the quality of our flowers as we do with the quality of our food. This reports also demonstrates that we have beautiful stylish bouquets to suit every purse - our Large Serene Bouquet received the highest score of the standard spring flower bouquets and we also had highest score of the budget spring flower bouquets with our Spring Dawn Bouquet".
A panel of mums and Which? Gardening experts ordered bouquets from 13 popular flower delivery companies and scored them according to quality, value and how closely they resembled the image provided on their website.
