We have received confirmation today that Alison Clare Reed acquired 3 shares on 24 March 2003 at a price of 302.25p per share as a result of reinvestment of tax credit in a PEP. The shares are registered in the name of Marks & Spencer Savings & Investments Limited.This brings her total holding to 84,109 shares.

We have also received confirmation today that on 24 March 2003 David Ronald Norgrove transferred 2,415 shares registered in his own name into an ISA registered in the name of Marks & Spencer Savings & Investments Limited. His shareholding of 41,363 shares remains unchanged.
