Marks & Spencer is to extend its Marks & Spencer LIFESTORE pilot, with a large scale store within Lakeside Retail Park, West Thurrock, opening in Summer 2005 and a town centre store in Kingston-upon-Thames at the retailer's Satellite store, opening in Summer 2004.

The two new locations are in addition to the pilot stand alone store opening in Gateshead, Tyne & Wear in February 2004.

Marks & Spencer LIFESTORE is part of a comprehensive new customer offer for the Home market, which reflects the way in which people live and use their homes.

Vittorio Radice, Executive Director commented: "The extension of the pilot is a significant step in our explorative journey into the opportunities we see in the Home market and will enable us to test the proposition in different locations and formats."
